Over the weekend, Edmonton-based independent travel agency Travel Gurus held a ‘soft opening’ of its first location in Calgary. The full-service travel specialist opened the 1375 square foot street front location at 4623 Bowness Rd. NW in Calgary’s Montgomery community, next door to the NOtaBLE -The Restaurant in early December. Established in Edmonton for over ten-years, the full-service agency features vacation travel, cruises and excursions, last minute and discount packages, etc. Owners Melissa Tolmie, Asmaa Elmais and Hidar Elmais are planning for a grand opening block party in June.
