Bold Flavours & Warm Welcomes…..

With over 1500 locations in about 25 countries, Church’s Texas Chicken is one of the larger quick service chicken restaurant chains in the world.  Launched in San Antonio in Texas in 1952, the franchise chain specializes in a Southern-style hand-battered fried chicken made in small batches along with other traditional Southern fare including made-from-scratch honey-butter biscuits, and classic home-style sides.  Church’s entered the Canadian market in 1979 with a few locations in Vancouver but it wasn’t until 2018 that the chain started to roll-out units in other Canadian markets. and presently there are over 60 restaurants in Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.  In late April, Church’s opened its latest unit in Canada in the upscale mixed-use 70 King St East building, the former Genosha Hotel, that opened over the weekend.  The franchise chain continues to source expansion opportunities in Canada, one of its strongest markets, seeking experienced QSR investors.  The chain operates in a flexible footprint, generally highly visible endcaps and standalone locations in a 1000 to 2200 square foot range.  Busy commercial and residential nodes and shopping centres are required.  Drive-thru opportunities are of particular interest, as are sites in proximity to schools and places of worship.
