Speeders is a Canadian entertainment brand specializing in high-performance indoor karting and multi-attraction experiences. Founded in Edmonton in 2011, the company operates the large-scale locations in Calgary, Edmonton, and Richmond in British Columbia. Positioned as an ‘eat, play, race’ destination, Speeders combines electric go-kart racing with a range of complementary attractions such as arcade games, laser tag, mini golf, and augmented reality activities, creating a social, all-in-one entertainment environment complimented by a strong food and beverage offering. A key differentiator is its use of high-performance electric karts, which provide fast acceleration while remaining environmentally friendly and emission-free. Speeders is now looking to expand its footprint into the Greater Toronto and southwestern Ontario markets and Josh Harris with Colliers in Toronto is actively seeking sites. With a proven track record of driving traffic, anchoring entertainment clusters, and activating underutilized large‑format spaces, the Speeders facilities are designed to appeal to a broad audience, from casual visitors and families to corporate groups and competitive racers. With a preference for large format retail sites with strong regional access and visibility, the units require a building area in the 45,000 to 60,000 square foot range with 30-foot clear height. Harris adds that the company will also consider purchase and design build opportunities.
