Shake Shack is expanding its Ontario presence with new restaurants planned for Oakville, Burlington and London. The London restaurant, at 3275 Wonderland Rd South, will mark a significant milestone as the first Shake Shack in Ontario to feature a drive-thru, adding greater convenience for customers on the go. All three locations will offer Shake Shack’s signature made-to-order menu, featuring 100 percent premium Canadian ingredients. Offerings include Angus beef burgers, Veggie Shacks made with vegetables and grains, crispy whole white-meat chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, hand-spun shakes and frozen custards. Shake Shack Canada was established in 2023 through a partnership between Osmington Inc. and Harlo Entertainment Inc. The Canadian operation plans to open at least 35 locations nationwide as it continues to expand the international brand. Beauleigh Retail Consulting is handling the site selection in Canada for the Shack Shake locations. The Shake Shack urban storefronts and shopping centre locations are traditionally in a 3000 to 3500 square foot range with a patio area. The freestanding and drive-thru version generally are situated on high traffic and highly visible 1.5-acre sites. Founded in New York City in 2004, Shake Shack has grown to more than 705 locations worldwide, including more than 250 international restaurants.
