The Lovisa chain of on-trend fashion jewelry boutiques now has close to 300 stores in North America including almost 50 across Canada. The chain continues to source locations in enclosed malls and lifestyle centres in all markets seeking highly visible units in the 800 square foot range. Lovisa is a fashion-forward jewelry concept, launched in Australia in 2010, offering a wide selection of necklaces, earrings, and rings, as well as piercing services. The chain targets a fashion conscious 25 to 45-year-old female clientele and features about 150 new styles in a broad range of quality products delivered to the stores each week. The global chain entered the U.S. market in 2017 with a location in Glendale in California and in 2022, it entered the Canadian market. Presently there are over 1000 stores in more than 40 countries. Suzan Zalter is heading up the Lovisa real estate search in North America and notes that locations in Ontario at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre in Toronto and CF Masonville Place in London are scheduled to open in second quarter 2026, along with Orchard Park in Kelowna in BC, and in Quebec in Galeries de la Capitale in Quebec City, Cerrefour de l’Estrie in Sherbrooke and Promenades de Gatineau in Gatineau. Ms Zalter adds that Kathleen McGuigan at Oberfeld Snowcap has been retained to assist with the growth.
