First in a Food Court………..

In December, Calgary-based Holy Grill had a strong opening in the food court at the Bankers Hall in downtown Calgary. The company’s first food court location brings the chain to six units in the Calgary market and it continues to actively source franchise partners for growth.  In addition to the search for partners for single and multiple units, the company is also sourcing suitable sites across Canada.  Introduced in 2003 by brothers and veteran restaurateurs, Nick, Andrew and John Yee, Holy Grill is a casual breakfast, lunch and dinner concept featuring a menu with their unique twist on eggs benedict along with hamburgers and panini sandwiches. Having launched its franchise program a few years ago and retaining Tony Kereluke at Top Shelf Franchising to handle its franchise development, the chain is now actively seeking franchisees nationally and provides its franchisees with full training and ongoing guidance and support.  Kevin McCann at Retail Leasing Services Inc is handling the site selection and adds that The Holy Grill restaurants will operate in 350 to 2000 square foot high traffic street front and end cap locations with patios as well as food court, airport and university locations.
