With plans for growth in downtown Toronto and throughout the GTA, Yolks Breakfast continues to search suitable locations, targeting high traffic street locations, plazas and open centres. In early March, Happy Belly Food Group reported that it had signed a franchise agreement and secured a real-estate location in Vaughan, just north of Toronto for the Yolks brand and anticipates opening in Summer 2026. Sean Black, CEO of Happy Belly notes that Ontario continues to be a growth province for Yolks, and the location at Woodbridge Square at Weston Rd and Hwy 7 will be the third Ontario location, part of a broader plan for twenty-five contractually committed Yolks locations across the province. Originating as a food truck concept in Vancouver in 2012, the street-inspired upscale boutique breakfast brand features a large breakfast and brunch menu. Sari Samarah, Joseph Cesario and Daniel Kershen at Value Insight Realty are responsible for the Ontario search for the 2000 to 3000 square foot locations. In addition to the soon-to-be three locations in Ontario, Yolks Breakfast has three locations operating in Vancouver and one in Montreal’s West Island area. Happy Belly has also just announced the signing of an area development agreement for the province of Alberta. The contractual agreement will deliver 15 new locations. The Yolks rollout now totals 76 contractually committed Yolks Breakfast units across nine provinces.
