SIR reports that it continues to monitor consumer spending behavior in light of current evolving macroeconomic factors, including inflation, interest rates and the impact of cross-border tariffs between Canada and the United States, and their potential impact on the Canadian economy and consumer confidence. SIR has leased four properties, in Aurora, Kanata and London in Ontario and Dartmouth in Nova Scotia, where it plans to develop four new Scaddabush locations. SIR has also leased a property in Windsor where it plans to develop a new Jack Astor’s + Freida’s location. Timing has not been announced. SIR is pursuing additional sites to continue growth of the Scaddabush and Jack Astor’s + Freida’s concepts. SIR Corp. has a portfolio of 55 restaurants in Canada. They include 36 Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill and Jack Astor’s + Freida’s Beverage Kitchen restaurants, and 15 Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar locations. SIR also operates one-of-a-kind ‘Signature’ brands including The Loose Moose, REDS Square One, Edna + Vita and a Duke’s Refresher + Bar location.
