KaleMart24 is accelerating its expansion with plans to open at least ten additional locations in 2026. After opening its first location in Montreal less than three years ago, the better-for-you convenience retailer is preparing to open its first downtown Toronto store in September, an 1800 square foot street front unit on Yonge St., just south of Bloor St. And the chain continues its growth across Montreal with new sites at Montreal Eaton Centre, St. Catherine St., Monkland Ave, Mont Royal Ave. East and the new Royalmount upscale mixed-use development, all scheduled for Fall 2026 openings. The Royalmount flagship will feature the brand’s signature assortment of healthier convenience products, fresh grab-and-go meals, smoothies, premium beverages and grocery essentials in a technology-driven retail environment. Since opening the first store in Montreal’s Berri-UQAM Metro station in Spring 2024, Oussama ‘Sam’ Saoudi, founder of KaleMart24, has expanded to 19 locations, open and about to open in Quebec and Ontario, that combine wellness-focused merchandise with self-checkout, mobile payment technology and a loyalty program. Tony Flanz of Think Retail is responsible for the chain’s real estate selection and reports that KaleMart24 continues to pursue additional opportunities focusing on high-traffic, street-front locations, open-air plazas, and office towers, with ideal spaces ranging from 850 to 1,500 square feet.
