Bardō, the Italian-inspired restaurant chain by Pearle Hospitality, will open its fourth location in the Elora Mills newly restored Walser Building in downtown Elora in Wellington County in southcentral Ontario later in October. The full-service 3605 square foot restaurant, with patio in Spring 2027, and seating for about 80 guests features a menu of comfort foods including hand-tossed pizza, meatballs, fresh salads, mikeshakes, classic banana splits, etc., all made with local ingredients. Michelin-starred chef Patrick Kriss and the team at Alo Food Group have worked alongside Pearle Hospitality to fine-tune the menu, beverage program, and service across Bardō Elora, and all existing locations. The unit will also include a grab & go counter for convenient takeout and pickup service. Launched by the Ciancone family in 1979, the Pearle Hospitality portfolio of upscale restaurants include Ancaster Mill, Spencer’s at the Waterfront, Cambridge Mill, Whistle Bear Golf Club, The Farm, Elora Mill, and The Pearle Hotel & Spa along with the Bardo restaurants in Hamilton, Guelph, Burlington and soon, Elora.
