CEFA Early Years School has expanded its Calgary presence with the opening of two new schools in the Beltline and Northland communities, increasing its local network to five locations. The expansion responds to Calgary’s rapid population growth and rising demand for high-quality early childhood education. The Beltline location at 1424 10 Ave SW is operated by franchise partners Irfan and Anita Mazhar, who are building on the success of their existing CEFA Calgary South school. It is 10,959 square feet with twelve classrooms. The Northland school at 2210 – 5235 Northland Dr NW, features 16 classrooms across 13,700 square feet and is led by franchise partners Rayman Dhaliwal and Soneet Sandhu. Introduced by Natacha Beim in 1998, CEFA Early Years School is a network of early years private schools with over 50 locations across British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. Designed as a franchise concept, CEFA delivers a proprietary, junior kindergarten curriculum that uniquely combines core academic subjects like reading, mathematics, and STEM with fine arts and enrichment programs, including drama, music, visual arts, dance, and yoga. The chain targets mid to upper income and educated markets and the units will operate in a varied selection of locations including retail plazas, mixed use commercial buildings, etc. Convenient parking and access are required along with an outdoor play area. The interior size necessary can range from 10,000 to 15,000 square feet.
