Signs are up and in early Summer, Vancouver-based Ayoub’s Dried Fruit & Nuts will open its first location on Vancouver Island. The street front unit is opening in the former West End Gallery location on Broad St at View St, across from the Bay Centre in Victoria. Inspired by the artisanal roasting traditions of his father, Chef Ayoub, Amir Hosh introduced Ayoub’s Dried Fruit & Nuts on Lonsdale Ave, in North Vancouver in mid-2019. The specialty chain of eight locations in B.C.’s Lower Mainland area has become known for its premium roasted nuts, dried fruits, seeds, sweets, and signature snack mixes. The chain emphasizes freshness and quality by roasting nuts daily in small batches using custom techniques and bold seasonings. The company sources products globally while maintaining a strong focus on handcrafted preparation and customer experience. In addition to retail sales, Ayoub’s supplies wholesale products to restaurants, hotels, offices, and hospitality businesses. Ayoub’s has introduced a franchise program and is seeking franchise partners for prime territories in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
