Little Dribblers Academy is the first and only children’s basketball facility and program in Canada that brings an educational spin to sports. Designed for children from 18-months to seven years, the Little Dribblers curriculum is rooted in brain research and developed by a team of Early Childhood Education and Sports Literacy experts. The facility offers weekly classes where the ‘mini-players’ learn social and academic skills through the sport of basketball. Experienced Ontario educator Riyah Auset opened the first location in Brampton in late 2018 and in 2022, the franchise concept opened a second location in Toronto, at 890 Danforth Ave. The concept is now seeking expansion opportunities in eastern GTA and Eastern Ontario and Caitlyn Price at Value Insight Realty has been retained to handle a search for suitable sites. The Little Dribblers Academy will operate in locations of 1200 to 3000 square feet that are zoned for preschool. Street front retail sites, shopping centres and mixed-use projects are targeted. Ample parking, natural light and minimum 16-foot ceilings are required.
