Bagels Le Trou is a Montreal-based bakery concept specializing in authentic Montreal-style bagels, handcrafted using traditional methods that include kettle boiling in honey-sweetened water and baking in wood-fired ovens. Launched by Alexandra Grenier and Damien Cussac in Griffintown in early 2019, the company offers a wide selection of freshly baked bagels, artisan breads, sandwiches, spreads, pastries and specialty grocery products in a warm neighbourhood setting. In mid-2023, Bagels Le Trou opened a second location on Masson St in Montreal’s Rosemont area and in early 2025 it opened its first franchise location in Rouyn-Noranda in western Quebec. With its commitment to quality ingredients and time-honoured baking techniques, Bagels Le Trou continues to seek opportunities in high-traffic neighbourhoods and commercial districts in Quebec and has joined the Blitz Franchise business development group to secure franchisees.
