Ottawa-based pizza franchise Gabriel Pizza opened its latest location in Cornwall in southeastern Ontario. The 1200 square foot location opened at the grocery-anchored centre at 1315 Second St East serving its selection of dine-in, takeout and deliver pizzas as well as a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Introduced in 1977, the established pizza franchise has almost 50 locations across eastern Ontario, Quebec’s Outaouais region and one in Nova Scotia. Recognized for its award-winning pizza and Italian-inspired menu with its wide selection of made-to-order pizzas, a choice of fresh toppings along with soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wings, pastas, etc. as well as a light breakfast menu. Fraser Paddison at Marcus & Millichap is handling the chain’s site selection in Eastern Ontario and notes that the chain is about to start construction on a location in Belleville and with an approved franchisee already on board, a search is underway in Durham region. Gabriel Pizza operates in highly visible 1200 square foot locations with convenient access in prominent plazas or street front locations and conversions are also considered.
