Soul Foods Group is a multi-national quick service restaurant company that operates about 400 restaurants and cafés in the UK and Canada under the KFC, Taco Bell and Starbucks brands. Last Fall, Soul Foods acquired 13 operating restaurants as well as the rights to expand the Burger King brand in British Columbia. Immediate plans are to source new opportunities in the Greater Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, the Interior Region, etc. Soul Foods’ Real Estate Manager, Brendan Richardson, has recently partnered with Greg Soucie at Grass Ridge Realty to assist in sourcing and securing new sites for Burger King in British Columbia. Although not an essential requirement, the group has a strong preference for drive-thru locations and will move swiftly to secure sites with a building footprint between 1800 and 2400 square feet. Urban sites are also of interest with smaller footprints available between 1500 to 1900 square feet.
