Later this week, JINYA Ramen Bar continues its expansion in Canada with a new restaurant opening at Willowbrook Shopping Centre on Fraser Hwy in Langley in Metro Vancouver in British Columbia. The unit is the brand’s 80th location systemwide. “We’re excited to bring JINYA to Langley and introduce our signature ramen experience to the community,” said Tomo Takahashi, founder and CEO of JINYA Holdings Inc. “We look forward to becoming part of the local dining scene and welcoming guests to enjoy our menu.” The restaurant features authentic Japanese dishes and signature menu items ranging from ramen, rice bowls, curry, salads, mini tacos with a wide array of authentic toppings, from tender pork chashu to a perfectly cooked and seasoned poached egg to fresh garlic. Founded in 2010 by Takahashi, the Burbank-based franchise chain, entered the Canadian market in 2012 with a location on Robson St. in Vancouver and with this latest addition, there are four in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland, two in Calgary and one in Edmonton. JINYA Ramen Bar locations are generally in a 2800 square foot range.
