In late September, the Azul chain of quick casual Mexican food restaurants opens its third location, a 1500 square foot street front unit at 601 College St. in Toronto’s Little Italy community. Introduced in early 2024 in the food court on the mezzanine level of the First Canadian Place in downtown Toronto, Azul features an authentic Mexican street food menu that includes fresh-made tacos, torta sandwiches, bowls, salads, etc. In late 204, Chef Medina opened a second downtown Toronto location in the Food Aisle at Union Station and the chain continues to source opportunities in the GTA. Taylor Borg at Beauleigh Realty is responsible for the Azul search for highly visible urban streetfront locations in the 700 to 1500 square foot range.
