In July, a 24,223 square foot Winners opens in Billings Bridge Shopping Centre in Ottawa, a key addition that highlights the centre’s ongoing revitalization efforts. As one of Canada’s leading off-price retailers Winners will offer a broad selection of brand-name fashion, footwear, home décor, beauty products, and accessories at value-driven prices, further strengthening the centre’s retail mix. In conjunction with the new store opening, Billings Bridge is undertaking extensive renovations to its common areas and food court. Planned upgrades include improved lighting, new flooring, modernized ceilings, refreshed architectural finishes, updated décor, and a redesigned food court featuring new furnishings, expanded seating, and a more functional layout. According to Shawn Pharasi, Vice President of Asset Management for owner Salthill Capital, the investments reflect the centre’s commitment to creating a vibrant and welcoming destination for the community. The renovation program is expected to be substantially completed by the end of Summer 2026. Billings Bridge Shopping Centre is a 350,000 square foot enclosed mall at Riverside Dr and Bank St in south Ottawa, near Carleton University. Present anchors include Walmart and Your Independent Grocer along with Rexall, Dollarama and now, Winners. A number of units in various formats ranging from 676 square feet to about 3000 square feet and Charles Walwyn at Salthill Capital is handling the leasing.
