As Reitmans celebrates its 100th anniversary, in mid-April the Canadian fashion retailer launched a new era with the debut of a redesigned logo and an innovative store concept at Carrefour Laval in the Greater Montreal area. More than a simple renovation, the reopening of the 5020 square foot store signals a broader transformation of the brand’s identity and customer experience as it enters its centennial year. The updated logo represents a more confident, modern image and reflects Reitmans’ forward-looking vision. Designed by interior design studio BURDIFILEK, the new store emphasizes structure, natural flow, and an intuitive layout that enhances how customers engage with the brand’s collections. The space features warm, sophisticated design elements, including open layouts, thoughtful lighting, rich textures, and a clean, modern palette. According to Reitmans (Canada) Ltd., the concept was created to better showcase its evolving fashion sensibility while strengthening customer connection. By combining clarity, elegance, and emotion, the new Carrefour Laval location positions fashion at the forefront and sets the tone for Reitmans’ next century. The introduction of the new look paves the way for a rollout across Canada beginning in 2027. Proudly Canadian, Reitmans has been an integral part of Canadian women’s lives, emboldening them with accessible and inclusive fashion grounded in quality and expert fit. The brand now operates more than 200 stores across the country along with a strong digital presence. Reitmans is embarking on a new chapter with an elevated in-store environment, trend-right collections, and a digitally driven, modern retail platform. In addition to the over 200 Reitmans stores, the company also operates 85 PENN. Penningtons, and 85 RW&CO stores across Canada.
