After opening a 1674 square foot location at The Square in Quartier DIX30 is Montreal’s South Shore in early 2026, Bossa Sandwicherie is now preparing to open its fifth location in October in Montreal’s West Island. The 3630 square foot unit is opening in the former Pastamore location at Centennial Plaza on Boul de Sources in Dollard des Ormeaux. Bossa Sandwicherie is a family-owned operation that was introduced in Montreal’s Verdun neighbourhood in 2018 and led by chef Daniel Lo Manto. The quick casual destination features bold flavours, fresh ingredients, and creative approach to classic comfort food made with traditional southern Italian recipes passed down through generations. Well known for its generous portions and handcrafted sandwiches, Bossa blends culinary craftsmanship with a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Each sandwich is built with thoughtfully sourced ingredients, house-made sauces, and freshly baked bread, resulting in rich textures and layered flavours that stand out from conventional offerings. In addition to the expanded menu, the location also offers a large selection of specialty grocery products and prepared dishes. The chain is now planning more growth, seeking high traffic, highly visible sites with convenient access in Montreal’s Mile End/Little Italy area as well as Laval. The Bossa unit will operate in the 1700 to 2300 square foot range.
