In the early 1990s, Stan Dimakos introduced Champ Burger in the Shelburne area in Central Ontario featuring its simple and satisfying ‘old school-style burger’ with a wide range of fresh toppings. Today the family-operated chain with three locations, features a menu, still based on made-to-order burger, along with various sides, sandwiches, hot dogs, milkshakes, etc. Champ Burger has introduced a franchise program that provides a restaurant designed for seamless management, supported by streamlined systems, and hands-on guidance from its experienced team. The company has also retained Ori Grad and Christian Petronio at CHI Hospitality Real Estate to handle the search for sites. Champ Burger is seeking second generation or built-out locations in the 1200 to 2000 square foot range. Presently the focus is on highly visible street front units, open plaza and shopping centre sites in the downtown Toronto, Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton markets.
