Slowhand Pizza is quick casual contemporary pizzeria that is preparing to open its second location in Toronto shortly. The unit is opening in the former Nava Coffee location in the Waterloo Terrace in the King and Portland area in Toronto’s Fashion District. Initially a home-based delivery operation, in 2022 co-owners Brett Feeley and Dan Ewing opened a bricks & mortar location at Pape Ave and Queen St East in Toronto’s Leslieville area. Featuring its high-quality square, sourdough pizzas that combine the Italian, San Francisco and Detroit styles, the brand emphasizes thoughtfully sourced ingredients and traditional techniques. The slow fermentation processes for the dough, results in a light, airy crust with enhanced flavour. Its menu typically features a curated selection of classic and inventive pizzas, complemented by fresh salads, small plates, and a concise beverage program. Designed to appeal to modern urban diners, Slowhand Pizza combines a casual yet refined atmosphere with a strong commitment to quality and consistency. Additional expansion has not been announced.
