Wilbur Taco Co. is a new taco restaurant at 50 Atlantic Ave in Toronto’s Liberty Village, expanding the popular Wilbur Mexicana brand with a second location. Opened in early June, the 3735 square foot quick casual format offers a broad menu of tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, fajitas, salads, and chips and dips. Like the original Wilbur Mexicana that Will Cumberland, Baird Cumberland and Steve Chan opened on King St West in 2015, the atmosphere presents ‘old school’, according to blogTO online news, with checkerboard floors, subway tiles and glass block dividers. Arlin Markowitz, Alex Edminson, Emily Everett and Jackson Turner at CBRE Ltd represented the landlord in the lease transaction for 50 Atlantic Ave.
