Opens South Shore Pizza Franchise………..

Franchisees Anthony Vella and Pasquale Vella have just opened their first Jacques Cartier Pizza restaurant in Beloeil in Montreal’s South Shore area.  The endcap location is a 2465 square foot location with a 400 square foot terrace in the 650-700 Serge-Pepin plaza at rue Serge Pepin and Boul Yvon L’Heureux North. In operation since 1968, Jacques Cartier Pizza is a chain of quick casual pizzerias that feature fresh pizza, from the traditional pepperoni to exotic combinations, using quality ingredients, fresh-daily dough and sauce prepared with tomatoes imported from Italy.  In addition, the menu includes a wide selection of fresh pastas, subs, chicken wings and poutines.  All of the chain’s 14 restaurants, generally in a 1200 to 1500 square foot range, are in the South Shore region.   A franchise concept, the chain continues to source business-minded entrepreneurs and President, CEO Stella Lagiorgia handles the search. Kevin Fortier at Lexia Real Estate Inc. handled the transaction on behalf of the landlord and reports that the 47,000 square foot plaza is now fully leased.
