Introduced in the Long Branch neighbourhood in Etobicoke in 2014, 850 Degrees Pizzeria has established itself as a destination for authentic stone-fired pizza. The independent restaurant combines traditional Italian techniques with high-quality Canadian ingredients, producing handcrafted pizzas in a stone oven heated to 850 degrees Fahrenheit that cooks each pie in about two minutes. The menu also features fresh pastas, salads, appetizers and vegan and gluten-friendly options. Building on its success, the company is expanding with a second Toronto location in Bloor West Village, reflecting growing demand for its distinctive dining experience, according to the BlogTO online reports. The street front restaurant is opening at 2197 Bloor St West at Kennedy Ave., just steps from the Runnymede Station. The opening is late Summer 2026, according to the restaurant’s website.
