Experienced franchisees Sudha Patel and Rohan Patel are re-introducing the Freshii brand to Newfoundland, re-opening two Freshii locations in St John’s. The units at the Waterford Plaza at 70 White Rose Dr the city’s east end and at 673 Topsail Rd. in southwest St John’s are opening in July. Freshii is a quick service specialty restaurant brand focused on providing fresh, nutritious meals for consumers seeking convenient, health-conscious dining options. Founded in Toronto in 2005 and part of the Foodtastic group since early 2023, the chain of over 300 locations offers a menu of salads, bowls, wraps, burritos, soups, smoothies and breakfast items, as well as new options such as Spicy Poke Bowls and protein bowls, emphasizing customizable ingredients and globally inspired flavours. Freshii restaurants generally range from 900 to 1500 square feet and target urban and suburban markets as well as downtown corridors.
