Introduced in Toronto’s West Queen West neighbourhood in 2015, Tokyo Smoke is an award-winning recreational cannabis retailer offering regulated cannabis products and accessories through stores and online channels. Presently the Toronto-based company operates about 60 stores in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland/Labrador that emphasize approachable, informed shopping, with knowledgeable staff to help select suitable curated products from assortments tailored to local markets. In Ontario, the chain has opened several locations this year, including Keswick, Stone Church Rd in Hamilton, Orillia, North Barrie, Peterborough, Owen Sound and later this year, in South Belleville. The chain is currently exploring expansion opportunities, particularly in the Ontario market for 2027. The Tokyo Smoke retail stores are in the 1500 to 3000 square foot range in centres as well as highly visible freestanding and street front locations.
