KidStrong children’s fitness concept that was introduced in 2018 in Frisco in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas by husband-and-wife team Matt and Megin Sharp and Megan Stein. The fitness concept features a unique curriculum that concentrates on children’s character, physical and brain development. The franchise concept entered the Canadian market in September 2021 with its first location in Calgary and presently there are seven locations in Alberta and Ontario. With over 180 centres in the United States and Canada, the innovative training franchise focuses on building future-ready kids between the ages of one through eleven years old. Angela Wilhelm at Willspire Real Estate Services is handling the real estate search for the chain in the Alberta and Saskatchewan markets and notes that the chain is currently looking in the Seton area in southeast Calgary as well as the Airdrie market, north of Calgary. The KidStrong units operate in the 3500 to 4000 square foot range and outdoor space is not a requirement.
