Originating as a food truck serving pizzas in 2022, husband and wife team Dan Feketa and Brittany Costello opened an 800 square foot bricks & mortar Violet Stone Pizzeria and in 2024 and relocated to a 2100 square foot location at 2607 MLK St North in the Crescent Heights area in St Petersburg on Florida’s gulf coast, adding an authentic Philadelphia-style cheesesteak to the menu. Now the popular pizzeria has started construction on its second location. The 3000 square foot location, in the former Renzo’s location on W. Kennedy Blvd, just east of S. Sterling Ave. in Tampa, is expected to open by early Fall. The Violet Stone Pizzeria is a modern pizza restaurant focused on delivering authentic, stone-baked pizzas made with high-quality ingredients and traditional preparation methods. Its menu combines classic Italian-inspired favourites with inventive specialty pizzas, alongside appetizers, salads, desserts, and beverages that appeal to a broad customer base. The restaurant emphasizes freshly prepared dough, premium toppings, and a welcoming atmosphere.
