OEB Breakfast Co. is in the final preparations for the opening of its second location in Toronto for the gourmet breakfast concept. The location at 20 Toronto St. in downtown Toronto is expected to open later in September. OEB/Over Easy Breakfast was introduced in 2009 by Chef and Founder Mauro Martina featuring distinctly-design restaurants that push the culinary boundaries of breakfast food, providing premium quality and craftsmanship and favoring seasonal, fresh ingredients with a farm-to-table philosophy. Featuring an open kitchen design, the chef-driven restaurants offer intriguing dishes that would not be made at home, balanced by lighter fare and vegan options. The breakfast choice features such items as breakfast poutines, gourmet omelets, torched French Toast Trifles, etc. Presently there are 18 locations in from British Columbia to Ontario as well as Arizona and California. OEB generally locates in highly visible locations in the 2500 to 3500 square foot range that offer convenient access. Former restaurant spaces and patios are preferred but not a requirement. OEB Breakfast Co continues to source franchise partners.
