Shortly after announcing plans for its first store in the Toronto market in late 2026, Article, the Vancouver-based modern furniture brand specializing in contemporary, mid-century and modern furniture and décor items as well as outdoor furniture, reported that its first U.S. showroom will open in the Lincoln Square North, part of the Bellevue Collection, in Bellevue in Washington. The 8250 square foot second level location is expected to open in October 2026. Initially an online furniture concept, the 13-year-old Article opened its first bricks & mortar location in Fall 2024 in a 4175 square foot street front location is at 848 East Hastings St. in Vancouver’s Strathcona neighbourhood. Earlier in the Spring, Co-founder and CEO Aamir Baig reported that along with a 9600 square foot location at 90 Bathurst in Toronto, up to five total locations planned by early 2027. Article’s curated assortment of modern sofas, dining, bedroom and living room furniture includes mid-century, Scandinavian, and contemporary designs made for real life.
