In addition, the franchise chain is presently seeking space throughout the province, focusing on the Lower Mainland area, Vancouver Island area and primary and secondary markets throughout the Interior. Introduced in Barrie in Ontario in 2014, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House specializes in fresh takes and creative twists on some of the classic breakfast and lunch items. From locally sourced produce and house-made batters to lunch specials, the chain has become a destination for many of its breakfast and brunch guests. The fast-growing chain operates over 130 locations across Canada with several under development. Stefan Safrata at Marcus & Millichap has been retained to handle the site selection in B.C. for Stacked Pancake House. Offering both a dine-in and takeout/pickup menu, Stacked Pancake restaurants generally target highly visible 2200 to 2500 square foot units with convenient access in main retail nodes. High traffic, grocery-anchored centres are preferred and patios are welcomed.
