Escapology is an escape room entertainment brand that was introduced in Orlando in Florida by brothers Simon and Paul Davison offering immersive, story-driven experiences designed to challenge players through puzzles, clues, and teamwork. Founded in late 2014 and franchising since 2016, the concept features a variety of themed escape adventures, ranging from mystery and espionage to historical and fantasy-based scenarios. Featuring its high-quality set designs, engaging narratives, and family-friendly appeal, attracting groups of friends, families, tourists, and corporate teams, Escapology counts over 100 locations in the U.S. and internationally. With a franchise-driven growth strategy, the brand entered the Canadian market with s franchise unit in London in Southwestern Ontario in early 2018 and presently there are also locations in Waterloo in Southern Ontario and in Montreal. Escapology is now seeking additional expansion in Canada and has retained Tao Yang at CBRE Ltd to head up the search, initially targeting the Greater Toronto area. The company is exploring both buying and lease options. The units require 3500 to 4500 square feet in retail and mixed-use locations with convenient access. At least nine-foot ceiling heights are preferred.
