Trespass, the Scottish outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment brand, has just opened a 2011 square foot inline location at the New Sudbury Centre in Sudbury in Northern Ontario. The brand features extensive collections for men, women and children, including waterproof and insulated jackets, hiking boots, walking shoes, ski apparel, fleece garments, backpacks, tents, sleeping bags and camping accessories. Its products incorporate proprietary fabric technologies, including Tres-Tex waterproof materials, designed to provide protection against challenging weather conditions. Established in Glasgow in 1938 as Jacobs & Turner Ltd., the company initially manufactured uniforms before developing waterproof jackets and outdoor apparel. The Trespass brand was launched in 1984, focusing on affordable, performance-oriented clothing and equipment for outdoor activities. The company entered the Canadian market in late 2023, opening its first North American retail locations at Vaughan Mills in Vaughan, Outlet Collection at Niagara in Niagara Falls, and Tanger Outlets Cookstown and at that time, there were plans to add more stores across Canada. Trespass currently operates more than 300 stores worldwide and exports to over 60 countries, supported by wholesale distribution and eCommerce.
