Thé Jinjin is a new Montreal tea and dining concept founded by Wenhui Zhang, featuring the contemporary interpretations of Chinese tea culture and Asian flavours. Following a series of successful pop-ups in the city, Thé Jinjin has opened a permanent Plateau location at the corner of Mari-Anne and Drolet streets. Located in the former Le P’tit Plateau location, the small, intimate, and modern neighborhood teahouse concept features matcha, hojicha, oolong and jasmine-based beverages, complemented by Asian-inspired food, locally sourced ingredients and collaborations with local artists and chefs. According to RestoMontreal, an online publication on the local restaurant scene, a Chinese food offering is expected be introduced in the evenings.
