Wingstop is a fast-casual chicken wing chain that entered Canada in 2022 and has quickly established a growing presence in Ontario. The brand specializes in cooked-to-order classic and boneless wings, chicken tenders, seasoned fries and house-made dips, with a menu built around twelve distinctive flavours ranging from mild options to hotter selections. Wingstop Canada is operated by JPK Capital, the brand’s exclusive master franchisee for Canada, Australia and New Zealand. With its youth-oriented branding, digital ordering capabilities and flavour-focused menu, Wingstop is positioning itself as an increasingly prominent player in Canada’s competitive quick-service restaurant sector. The chain ended 2025 with about 18 locations in Ontario and is aggressively sourcing premium end cap, freestanding sites and premium locations across Ontario with a particular interest on the Brampton, Mississauga, Scarborough, Toronto, Ottawa, Vaughan, Markham, Kitchener, Waterloo, Windsor and Burlington markets. Sari Samarah and Eli Vladimirsky at Value Insight Realty Inc. are handling the chain’s site selection in Ontario. The chain also seeks sites with potential for drive-thrus and the size required will range from 1800 to 6000 square feet, depending on the market and opportunity.
