Montreal-based Carma Hospitality has secured a third location for Rosie’s Burgers in a highly visible freestanding location at Victoria Ave at Churchill Blvd. in the Greenfield Park area of Longueuil in Montreal’s South Shore area. The 1500 square foot unit with large patio area is expected to open in October. The location represents Carma Hospitality’s third location under a contractually committed ten-unit development agreement with Happy Belly Food Group for Rosie’s in Quebec that was signed a year ago. Earlier in March, the first Rosie’s Burger in Quebec opened at 210 Saint-Viateur West in the heart of the Mile End neighbourhood in Montreal’s Plateau Mont Royal and shortly after, the company reported plans for the second location in Montreal’s Griffintown neighbourhood. This former restaurant location is at 1800 Notre Dame St West at Saint-Martin St., across from the Petite Bourgogne Sports Centre and is expected to open in August. Rosie’s is a boutique quick-service restaurant brand known for its signature smash burgers, golden fries, poutine, onion rings, and classic milkshakes — delivering nostalgic flavours in vibrant, neighborhood-driven, highly visible locations with convenient access and in the 1000 to 2000 square foot range. Rosie’s Burgers is entering a strong phase of national expansion, with 16 locations currently open and more than 114 secured under multi-unit and area development agreements across Canada.
