Real Fruit Bubble Tea continues its rapid growth and is actively seeking opportunities in Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver for 2027 and several more locations in the U.S. are planned. Operating since 2002, Real Fruit Bubble Tea is a Toronto-based specialty chain featuring a menu of hot and cold beverages ranging from fresh fruit smoothies and fruit juices to fruit teas, milk teas and sherbet drinks. With over 135 locations operating, the chain of corporately-owned and operated units continues to create more fruit-based combinations. Ryan McGrath of Streetscape Retail handles the site selection for the chain in Canada and the United States. He adds that the chain entered the U.S. market in early 2022 and with several locations now in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, continues to source locations. In 2027, the chain opens its first location in Manhattan in NYC at the World Trade Centre followed by a unit at Palisades Center in West Nyack in New York. In enclosed malls, Real Fruit Bubble Tea will operate in units ranging from 300 to 900 square feet while large format centre locations will require 700 to 1000 square feet.
