As part of its rebranding that was launched last year, a new 1580 square foot Rocky store re-opened in CF Market Mall in Calgary earlier in the Summer and a new 801 square foot location re-opened at Bower Place in Red Deed in mid-July. Rocky, formerly known as Rocky Mountain Soap Company, is a Canmore, Alberta-based manufacturer and retailer of natural body care, skincare, and home wellness products. Founded in 2000 in Canmore, the company emphasizes plant-based ingredients, sustainable sourcing, and environmentally responsible manufacturing. Rocky operates a growing network of retail stores across Canada, supported by a strong e-commerce platform. Its product assortment includes soaps, bath and body care, facial skincare, aromatherapy, and wellness essentials. The company continues to expand its national retail presence while maintaining its commitment to clean ingredients, ethical practices, and Canadian-made products. Currently the line is available in about 80 stores across Canada include about 14 stand-alone Rocky locations in malls in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. Jessica Millett at Oberfeld Snowcap is responsible for the Rocky site selection in Canada targeting highly visible 900 to 1200 square foot stores in the larger malls.
