Last week, Calgary-based High Tide Inc. opened a 1215 square foot Canna Cabana recreational cannabis location in the Farm Boy-anchored plaza at 4828 Bank St in south Ottawa’s Findlay Creek neighbourhood. The opening brings the 17-year-old High Tide’s total store count to 229 Canna Cabana locations across Canada and 104 in Ontario. “We’re excited to strengthen our presence in Ottawa with this new location, serving a fast-growing community where we believe our Cabana Club and ELITE membership programs will resonate with both new and existing cannabis consumers,” said Raj Grover, Founder, CEO. As previously reported, High Tide stated its long-term goal of surpassing 350 locations nationwide and opening 20 to 30 locations in 2026, mostly through organic growth. The Canna Cabana stores generally operate in the 1200 square foot range in various formats and Chris Wanzel and Michael Calderone at Urban Reform Realty are responsible for the site selection in Canada.
