AutoCanada Inc. has completed the acquisition of Mascarin Collision Centre in Thunder Bay in Ontario, expanding its collision repair network into Northwestern Ontario. Founded in 1961, Mascarin has built a reputation for quality repairs, customer service, and technical expertise, serving the region for more than six decades. The facility holds OEM certifications for over ten vehicle brands and is the only General Motors-certified collision repair centre in Northwestern Ontario. AutoCanada says the acquisition strengthens its growing collision repair platform and provides opportunities for future growth. Sadly, the industry has lost another giant and a good friend. Last week, surrounded by his family and loved ones, Jim Murdoch passed away peacefully. A respected member of the commercial real estate industry over several decades, through Murdoch & Associates, Oakmont Real Estate Real Estate Services and as partner with Urban Reform Realty, Jim built relationships that went far beyond business.
