Hello Calgary………..

Hello Calgary………..The upscale, Vancouver-based Japanese hand rolled sushi bar Hello Nori entered the Calgary market last weekend with a 2100 square foot street front location at 885 1st Ave NE in the city’s Bridgeland area. Known for its fresh sushi, Hello Nori is a five-year-old full-service concept that features several choices of sushi roll consisting of warm, seasoned rice wrapped in fresh, crisp nori with a sustainable seafood or veggie filling. To complement the menu is an array of exclusive, customized beverages, including iced matcha, iced peach drink, and a local Junmai Nama-style sake. In addition to its first Calgary location, the chain has four locations in British Columbia, in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond and West Vancouver and two in downtown Toronto. Later in May, the chain is adding a third Toronto locations in the Yorkville area. A 2500 square foot location at 1250 Bay St. is preparing to open shortly and discussions are underway for more. The chain is actively seeking sites in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. Ali Baker and Caitlyn Micuda at Avison Young Commercial Real Estate Services are handling the search for highly visible 1800 to 2500 square foot locations.
