In late 2021, Julian Cruz Paniagua and Veronica Velez Gonzalez launched The Mexican Way, a full-service casual restaurant that features a 100 percent authentic Mexican menu consisting of dishes from various regions in Mexico. The popular restaurant opened in a street front location on Mill St East at John St in Acton in Halton Region, about 70-kilometres west of Toronto. Having established the concept, the owners are now looking to expand the concept throughout the greater Toronto area and there is an immediate requirement for locations in Georgetown, Oakville, Mississauga and Etobicoke. Nicholas Giandomenico at The FernG Team – Intercity Realty has been retained to handle the site selection. The Mexican Way is targeting locations in open centres, plazas, large format centres, as well as high traffic street fronts in densely populated residential neighbourhoods. The preferred size is in the 1500 to 2500 square foot range.
