In early June, QSR restaurant group Franchise Management opened a KFC/PFK restaurant in the Berson urban street front project by Groupe Forum on Saint-Laurent St in Montreal’s trendy Plateau Mont-Royal district. The street front unit is about 1230 square feet. FMI operates over 170 KFC/PFK locations in Canada and over 55 in the U.S.
With this addition, a 1450 square foot street level unit remains available in the project. Stephanie Rea at Groupe Forum is handling the leasing for the mixed-use development, between Roy St and Ave Duluth near the Sherbrooke Metro station. With its close proximity to universities, the highly visible site has a daytime population of over 220,000 people. Its primary trade area population is about 58,000 people.
