Over the weekend, Sleep Country Canada opened a 5000 square foot store at SmartCentres Winnipeg Southwest project that combines the Endy and the Silk & Snow sleep and home brands. With a grand opening celebration this week, it is the first stores in Manitoba for both brands. Introduced in 2017, Silk & Snow is a home furnishings company specializing in premium mattresses, bedding, furniture, and sleep accessories. The company emphasizes quality craftsmanship, sustainable materials, and modern design, offering products that combine comfort, durability, and environmentally conscious manufacturing for contemporary homes. Part of the Sleep Country group since early 2023, Silk & Snow has twelve stores from Quebec to British Columbia and ten departments in EQ3 stores. One of Canada’s first mattress-in-a-box online concepts in 2015, Endy retail stores provide a hands-on shopping experience featuring mattresses, bed frames, bedding, and sleep accessories. Designed for comfort and convenience, the stores allow customers to test products while receiving expert guidance on creating better sleep environments. Sleep Country acquired Endy in late 2018 and now has five retail stores in Halifax, Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and now, Winnipeg. Sleep Country opened its first combo Endy and Silk & Snow store in Edmonton in late 2024.
