With the opening of its 1522 square foot location at the Stock Yards Village in Toronto earlier in the Summer, the two-year-old Honestly Good Chicken Fingers chain of quick casual restaurants counts four locations in the Toronto area. And three locations are in final negotiations and several more are planned for 2027. Introduced in 2024 by restaurant industry professionals Naomi Kempkes and her husband, the brand was developed with the goal of creating a higher-quality version of the classic chicken finger menu. Focusing on fresh, hand-breaded and made-to-order chicken fingers using a signature blend of herbs and spices, served with fries, garlic toast, and dipping sauces, the concept emphasizes quality ingredients, consistency, and efficient service as an important component in its expansion plans. Chris Wanzel at Urban Reform Realty is handling the search targeting locations in the 1500 to 2500 square foot range and adds that the present target is on the GTA and southwestern Ontario markets.
