Earlier in the week, IKEA Canada opened a 43,000 square foot store at White Oaks Mall in London. Designed for convenient visits and offering more than 2,500 everyday essentials and seasonal items, the smaller unit is the company’s first compact store format in Canada. The first-of-its-kind store will also offer room displays, sustainable home solutions, and around 400 furniture items available for immediate purchase and takeaway from the self-serve warehouse. The new store is intended to make IKEA more accessible while strengthening the company’s omnichannel shopping experience.
