Crock a Doodle is a chain of over 40 paint-your-own pottery franchises that offers walk-in and event-based ceramic painting experiences for families, kids, and adults. Guests choose from a wide range of pottery pieces, personalize them with paints and designs, and the studio glazes and kiln-fires the finished creations. introduced the concept in 2002 with a plan of creating an opportunity for relaxed social interaction, unplugged from technology that would allow for creative exploration and simple, hands-on play. The bright and cheerful Crock A Doodle studios provide people of all ages an opportunity to transform platters, plates, mugs, etc. into personalized, one-of-a-kind keepsake and gift items. A franchise concept since 2004, the chain includes studios across Ontario, Alberta and Manitoba with openings shortly in Milton Mall in Milton in Ontario and Kildonan Crossing in Winnipeg. The company continues to explore opportunities targeting units of about 1200 square feet, preferably in family-friendly plazas with strong co-tenancies.
