Later this week, Hind Quarter Meat Co. transitions from a pop-up butcher service into its own standalone storefront location, a 2450 square foot inline location at the Veterans Village centre on Mapleview Dr. West and Veteran’s Dr. in Barrie. Jack Clarke initially introduced Hind Quarter Meat in 2021 as a pop-up concept featuring local meats and butcher services, receiving community awards for two years running. With the new full-service artisan butcher and gourmet food shop, he has expanded the offerings to additional selections, including custom dry-ages beef, handmade sausages, burgers, etc. along with house prepared foods, cheese, charcuterie and fine gourmet items.
